Outside of the traditional Architecture practice, I strive to serve the profession through involvement in a number of non-profit organizations. I am passionate about fostering learning, mentorship, community engagement, and promoting inclusion within Architecture and the allied professions.

2019 Beaux Arts Ball New Orleans: Premiére Luméire Co-Founder and Co-Chair
An avant-garde and enchanting evening with 300 attendees embracing the arts, architecture, culture, and music. My involvement included the initial presentation to the New Orleans Architecture Foundation as a joint fundraising event for NOAF and WIA, outreach for sponsorships, marketing, coordination of exhibitions, and co-management of 30 volunteers.

Multi-media based exhibition immersing viewers in the transformative history of New Orleans and envisioning the next 300 years in conjunction with the tri-centennial of the City. My responsibilities included early planning, graphic development, and sponsorship outreach.
2017 AIA New Orleans Architecture Week Chair
Seven free events over the course of one week. I was directly responsible for the creation and organizing of lectures, building tours, and networking events in partnership with other non-profits. I also designed graphics, handled marketing, and fundraising.

2015 Emerging Professionals 10 Years 10 Stories: The Architecture of Recovery
To mark the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, The Emerging Professionals of AIA New Orleans developed a traveling exhibition and a series of panel discussions exploring the role Architects play in the city's recovery. The exhibit highlights significant work, missed opportunities, and contributions to frame future recovery efforts for similar disasters. As part of a team of 11 curators, my efforts included graphic design lead for the pillars, infographics, research & curation of 'Growth' and 'Community' topics, marketing and outreach, and physical fabrication. The project was featured in the the AIA National Emerging Professionals Exhibit and the team received an AIA Louisiana Professional Achievement award.

2014 - 2017 Women in Architecture New Orleans Co-Chair
WIA promotes women leaders within the profession and allied industries with a focus on mentorship, licensure, and professional development. I oversaw the planning of events, funding, graphics, marketing, and outreach. Events included three mentor dinners for 100 attendees, several Continuing Education Programs, build days with Habitat for Humanity and Uncommon Construction, and numerous building tours, lectures, networking opportunities, and panel discussions.

2013 AIA New Orleans Associate Member Director
Executive member of the AIA New Orleans Board of Directors and responsible for programming focused on licensure, professional development, community engagement, and networking.
2012 AIA New Orleans ARE Study Group Coordinator
Coordinated weekly study sessions for 25 to 40 Associate AIA members, managed the lending library at AIA New Orleans Center for Design, and organized two workshops with guest instructors for specific exams.
2011 AIA National Convention Volunteer
At the local chapter level, my team researched and created content for the convention iPhone application. I also volunteered to help direct and register participants for the event.
2011 DesCours Art and Architecture Volunteer
A public ten-night art and architecture exhibition at various sites throughout the city. Internationally renowned architects and artists create experimental installations within 'hidden' sites to be discovered for free by the public. I participated in site scouting and aided in grant writing.
2010 - 2012 Preservation Resource Center Archival Researcher
Volunteer research of notarial archives and other resources for three specific houses featured in the PRC Holiday Home Tour and for publication.
