Amy Garrett, AIA

Hi! I am a Louisiana registered Architect with over 14 years of experience and am seeking a full time opportunity in a collaborative, design forward, and inspiring environment. I am currently based in New Orleans, Louisiana but will be relocating to Omaha, Nebraska in March 2023.

Over the course of my career, I have worked on more than 75 commercial projects with varying typologies and complexities in Southeast Louisiana. I am passionate about the unique challenges and creative opportunities of adaptive reuse projects and also moved by enlightening design in new construction. My soft skills include energetic leadership, skilled communication, and comprehensive management with a proven ability to lead teams through all phases of project design and construction.

My involvement with the architectural profession also extends past my daily job. I care deeply about equity, diversity, and inclusion within the profession and am an active member of the New Orleans Women in Architecture Chapter. I also served as Co-Chair from 2014 - 2017 and supported women through leadership development, innovative and informative programming, mentoring, and creating strong peer networks in an open and inclusive environment.
